Our Cup Runneth Over - Part One

Howdy kids.  Andie here.

We are going to have to do this in two installments...you people are so generous, and we only have so much time, gearing up for our upcoming cast and crew screenings, overseeing the design of our sweet swag (that's Kickstarter rewards, Mom), updating the website architecture, designing posters, and...and...and...so bear with us!

Brishon Neu served as the AD on the Paradise Recovered, keeping a bunch of creative types on schedule and on task.  I've known Brishon and her lovely family since she was 16.  The Neus housed us on the road trip between Austin and Indiana during the shoot, and they are just crazy about loving people.  Roger and Amy, you've raised some amazing kids, and Brishon is a jewel to us.  Miss you, Brishon!

The Sensenigs are the family of Andrew Sensenig, who plays Mr. Sawyer in Paradise Recovered.  Talk about angels -- Andy has been generous with his encouragement and passion for this project since the moment he received the script.  We made a connection, and we definitely want to work with this amazing man again.  Thanks so much, Andy and Kristi and kids!

Cara Jean Wahlers co-wrote the score that appears in our film with Grover Parido.  Cara is an amazingly talented singer.  I've heard noisy bars come to a standstill when she starts strumming that guitar and singing.  Her CD Release Party is July 31, and Storme, Dane, Heather, and I plan to be there.  You must get a copy of her new album with Grover entitled "Goodnight Charlotte."  Love you, boo.

Denis Henry Hennelly served as a script consultant for Paradise.  He's kinda the catalyst for the whole project, actually.  Denis and I have been friends for 20 years, though it's amazing because we are still both like 22.  Anyway, Denis has a new film out called Bold Native, which, along with the encouragement from my youngest daughter (age 5), made me go vegan.  Denis read the early scripts, helped me shape the story, and encouraged me to get as real with this story as possible.  Love you, Denis. 4 evah.

Because I am falling asleep while I am typing, I'll get the rest of our heroes tomorrow!
